Went to a wake here room good food not very inviting crusts on sandwiches hard. Service very good
Took our mum's as it's the first Christmas without our dads. Thought it would be nice to go out for Christmas lunch. I can't tell you how disappointing the meal was. In fact it was bloody awful. Firstly it was freezing cold in the Restaurant so they bought in some extra heaters in. The food itself was horrid. Vegetables overcooked and the roast potatoes came straight from the packet. I did complain but it fell on deaf ears. I could honestly cry it was that bad.
Charming hotel with good food. Could do with a little spruce up, but I like contemporary and this is traditional so could just be my taste. I will stay again when I return to Nottingham
Great location for where I needed to be next day. Ample parking. Price was 93 for bed, breakfast and evening meal. Good choice of food for breakfast and good arrived quickly and hot. Evening meal was average. Room was very warm and led right out into the gardens. Lots of visions and frilly stuff. Old fashioned but comftible. Would stay again.
Attended Sister and brother-in-laws golden wedding party. The quality of the food was excellent with generous portions and the staff were welcoming and very friendly. It was a most enjoyable day.
