I visited Sunday afternoon 3.30pm with my husband,son and his partner and my granddaughter. On arrival we was being seated and informed that there was no lamb or Yorkshire puddings..... we ordered our food and oh what a shame my husband and myself ordered the hunters chicken it was hard, dry and tasted like rubber.....everything we ordered was terrible. We use to eat there all the time when it was hungry horse, I'm afraid won't be eating there again and it is a shame the staff are nice apart for one male he was very rude.
Haven't been for awhile but glad I did! Starter, mains and dessert were just lovely. My steak cooked exactly as asked for (blue) something that some places find hard to do. Definitely recommend and would definitely go back again.
Very friendly/helpful staff - without them this would be a 3 star review due to several options not being available. They had run out of salad (so no fajitas etc) for dinner, and in the morning they had run out of hash browns. These seem like fairly basic ingredients to keep in stock when the menu is fairly limited anyway.
Food was nice, drinks were as ordered, the place was clean and tidy. Our waiter was pleasant and friendly. The guys behind the bar were cheerful. All in all a very good experience. If I was in this part of Nottingham again I would definitely eat here again.
Based on actual pub I would give this place 5 stars, food excellent staff very accommodation and friendly. Please don't rely on booking via the web site as it is very misleading and does not give true readings as to what is available in pub. Through this I originally gave 4 stars but thought this unfair as pub staff did all they could to rectify misleading web information and although we could not have what we originally ordered we all five of us had an excellent meal.
