Great place for kids. It has a really good play park and an interactive exhibit in the woods near the car park.A nice little lake to feed the ducks and good area to walk around.Can be quite busy on sunny days.

Very large and very popular, this is a great place for all the family, even the four legged ones. Park for 1 all day or 30 for the whole year if you get a valid permit. The car park is large and you have the rangers office next to the toilets. As you walk into the entrance of the park there is a large child friendly play area and more toilets, which are eco friendly. You will meet lots of dog walkers but dont worry, there are plenty of wide open spaces to let your dog free if you like, just ensure you can bring it back verbally rather than running after it. Park benches are scattered around the place and if the weather is nice this would make a cracking picnic place. Dont forget your poo bags and if I were you Id stick to boots or wellies. The best feature of the park is the dog assault course, it got really muddy but its great fun! Have a look and have fun!
